Questioning the Development Minister in the Israel and the Occupied Palestinian Territories debate

I am appalled by President Trump’s dangerous proposals for the forced displacement of 2.2 million Gazans – this would be a grave violation of international law, and threatens the fragile peace and getting the hostages home. As Liberal Democrat spokesperson for International Development, I asked the Development Minister to condemn these proposals and for the Government to commit to the immediate recognition of a Palestine state. I also asked about the impact of the USAID funding freeze to the humanitarian response in Gaza.
